We’re excited to announce the final release of ManicTime v2025.1! After a successful beta phase, the final version is now available, packed with new features and improvements.
What's New?
On the Windows version, most of our efforts were focused on the Compact View, which we covered in a previous blog post. You can read more about other changes here.

On Cloud (ManicTime Server), we focused on a complete redesign of the Administration section, making it more intuitive and easier to navigate.

A major new feature is Workplaces, which we discussed in this blog post. This is a fantastic addition for anyone working across multiple locations.

Another significant addition is the introduction of new email reports:
Early Leave, Late Arrival and Overtime reports. These reports provide a summary of users who have missed predefined targets. They can be sent on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis, offering a simple yet effective way to monitor attendance and productivity.

You can read more about other Cloud (ManicTime Server) changes here.
On Mac and Linux, our primary focus was improving tracker stability and fixing bugs to ensure a smoother experience.
Regular Release Schedule
This is the first of our three major releases planned for 2025, with the next one slated for June. We stick to this triannual cadence to keep delivering fresh improvements throughout the year.
Cloud Users Are Already Ahead
If you're using ManicTime Cloud, you may have already seen some of these features in action, as the new Cloud version has been available for a couple of weeks now.
